EUROPEN launches PPWR Implementation Tracker

The Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) foresees dozens of secondary legislative measures that will shape how the Regulation is implemented in practice. Keeping track of consultations, deadlines, delegated acts, implementing acts, and other developments can quickly become challenging. 

To support stakeholders in navigating this process, EUROPEN is pleased to launch the PPWR Implementation Tracker, a publicly available tool designed to provide a clear and up-to-date overview of the implementation of PPWR secondary legislation. 

The Tracker enables users to: 

• monitor the progress of PPWR secondary acts; 
• follow upcoming deadlines and implementation milestones; 
• identify open public consultations and opportunities to contribute; 
• access key documents and resources in one place; and 
• understand key regulatory concepts through a dedicated glossary. 

The homepage provides an overview of the implementation progress through visual indicators and a timeline showing the status of each measure. Users can quickly identify whether a measure is under preparation, open for consultation, adopted, or delayed.

This initiative complements EUROPEN's broader work to support stakeholders in understanding and implementing the PPWR.
