Opportunity Europe: Change in Industry Consultation

We need a more effective approach to industry consultation. Why? The current process for stakeholder consultations is too high-level, limiting industry’s ability to provide the level of granularity needed for effective impact assessments and, in turn, effective legislation. This is important to duly assess potential impacts on production processes and product specifications, such as risks for consumer health and safety, sustainability goals and resilience of supply chains and production lines.
