“Now we have the goals of the circular economy for all of the EU, and therefore we also need a waste management system which is a European one. Without necessarily going for one single system to treat waste, we need, as a minimum, some common rules around governance and around transparency,” said Francesca Siciliano Stevens, EUROPEN’s Secretary General.
