New leadership for EUROPEN
Brussels, 11 May 2020 - EUROPEN, the European Organization for Packaging and Environment, is pleased to announce the appointment of Francesca Stevens as Managing Director per 1 June 2020. Ms. Stevens joins EUROPEN with twenty years of experience in public affairs roles, most recently with Arconic where she led Government Affairs and Business Development in the European region.

"With her knowledge of the European policy environment, combined with her strong business experience, Francesca will lead EUROPEN to secure a European single market for packaging and packaged products, while protecting the product and the environment”, he continued.

An experienced public affairs professional, prior to joining Arconic, Ms Stevens was Head of EU Relations at Alcoa, and held public affairs roles at Hyundai Motor Company, the Confederation of Italian Industry and Alcan. Ms Stevens holds a degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Turin in Italy and a Master of Art’s Degree in European Studies from the College of Europe in Warsaw, Poland.
