Unwrapping PPWR Workshop in Barcelona

Join EUROPEN in Barcelona for the third edition of its Unwrapping PPWR workshop, taking place ahead of the Sustainability in Packaging Europe conference on 7–8 October 2026.

Held just a few months after the PPWR becomes applicable, this in-person event will take stock of the Regulation's implementation and explore the remaining challenges related to packaging waste management. The EUROPEN team will also present new toolkits designed to help companies navigate the many secondary legislative measures and new conformity assessment requirements.

With the new Circular Economy Act proposal expected in the third quarter of 2026, the workshop will also examine how this initiative can support the transition towards greater packaging circularity and help shape future policy developments.

Participation in the workshop is free of charge for EUROPEN members. However, attendees must register for the Sustainability in Packaging Europe conference. EUROPEN members are eligible for a 20% discount on the conference registration fee using the code: SUST26PPWR.
